Green Yard Project

If you live in an apartment building in Tel Aviv, chances are you've never explored your neglected backyard.

Such was the case for us in our sleepy residential neighborhood of Kochav haTzafon. Our backyard was a sad wasteland, home to stray cats and random debris.

The 2020 Covid pandemic forced us, like many others, to get intimately aquainted with our immediate surroundings and soon enough our neighbors (especially those with young children) came wandering out into the shared space of open land behind our bulding.
